St. Catherine of Siena Church on Hamilton Mountain stands as a significant addition commissioned by the Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation, marking 50 years of service with a response to the community’s growing needs. It is located near Rymal Road on an 8-acre property, this 3,657-square-meter architectural marvel reaches 28.0 meters in height. Its design features a striking blend of elements, including a natural limestone base, aluminum composite mid-band, and a geometric roof adorned with diamond tiles.
Inside, the church offers a serene sanctuary crafted with natural oak accents, creating a warm and contemplative atmosphere. Positioned strategically within the community, it serves not only as a spiritual focal point but also enhances connectivity with Hamilton’s public transit and municipal sidewalks, ensuring accessibility for all. Mantecon Partners Inc., serving as a sub-consultant provided essential multi-disciplinary engineering services for this landmark project.
