Tony is a licensed professional engineer who specializes in civil and structural engineering of complex, large-scale commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential projects. With over 40 years dedicated to the profession, he has been honoured with a Certificate of Fellowship from Engineers Canada. Tony works closely with architectural firms, developers, constructors, and industrial clients, advising through all stages of the project life cycle.

Margaret's Place Hospice

Mantecon Partners Inc. supplied full engineering services for the new Hospice. The 12-bed facility included LEED principles. The unit consisted of a tranquil location against the Hamilton Conservation lands of the Dundas Valley.

Heavy timber, wood, steel, and concrete have been used for the structure. The mechanical system is a high efficiency VAV system with advanced digital controls to optimize thermal comfort. Electrical highlights included room sensors and a daylight harvesting system has been used varied indoor room lighting levels in conjunction with outdoor daylight intensity.
