The project includes upgrades to improve accessibility, fire alarm upgrades, emergency lighting and exit signage, lighting and lighting controls, power distribution, public address, IT and communications design and BAS upgrades. The project also included the addition of multiple universal washrooms. The biggest challenge with this project is the facility remained operational during the office and library renovation and required a detailed phasing plan.
