The Ottawa Hospital provides a full range of services to approximately $1.2 million people throughout Ottawa and the surrounding area.Mantecon Partners members worked with the hospital on a two-site project consisting of 68,500 square feet of new construction and 32,000 sq. ft of renovations on the exiting Cancer Centre. This concluded with a two story addition along with basement provision for vertical expansion.

This substantial redevelopment involved various therapy rooms such as 4 radiation treatment bunkers, a chemotherapy support space, isolation rooms, and brachytherapy rooms. Space for research and development was also exceptionally engineered including clinical trial space, a cancer research lab, and work shop space.
