Ballroom Bowl

The Ballroom Project at 1 Bloor Street East encompasses several key tasks to ensure the successful renovation and compliance of the building.

Mechanical team was responsible for modifying the existing HVAC system layout to accommodate the new project design, reviewing fire protection measures to meet safety standards, providing comprehensive plumbing and drainage design, and collaborating with a kitchen consultant to optimize equipment placement and functionality. Additionally, team designed an efficient kitchen exhaust system and attending both teleconference calls and site visits to monitor progress and address any challenges.

The electrical team undertook a multifaceted approach to power design, encompassing both functionality and aesthetics. Our team meticulously coordinated with the architect and lighting supplier to integrate aesthetic lighting seamlessly into the space. Additionally, facilitated power distribution to support various equipment, including specialized controls for bowling lane equipment and associated devices. Collaborating closely with the kitchen consultant, we ensured seamless integration of power and fire alarm connections. This comprehensive approach also extended to the design of emergency lighting, exit signage, and fire alarm systems, to meet regulatory standards and ensure occupant safety.
