Tony is a licensed professional engineer who specializes in civil and structural engineering of complex, large-scale commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential projects. With over 40 years dedicated to the profession, he has been honored with a Certificate of Fellowship from Engineers Canada. Tony works closely with architectural firms, developers, constructors, and industrial clients, advising through all stages of the project life cycle. His leadership of multi-disciplinary teams encompasses all project delivery methodologies to achieve successful results. Tony’s passion for his work is evident through his mentorship of young talent and tackling project challenges.
Dave Martin

Principal, Office Manager
David Martin, assumes the role of Principal and Office Manager, bringing three decades of experience in architectural and structural design to the team. His expertise spans various project types, including institutional, healthcare, educational, municipal, and industrial projects. Over his tenure of over 10 years in operations management, Dave has earned the respect of his peers through his dedication and leadership. In addition to overseeing the production of crucial design documents, Dave plays a pivotal role in resource allocation, ensuring project deliverables are met effectively and efficiently. His pivotal role in developing operational procedures and documentation standards has been instrumental in shaping the firm's operational success.

Shawn is a leader within the structural practice at Mantecon Partners and has been with the company since 2006. His collaborative approach and technical expertise foster a strong sense of teamwork, resulting in the successful completion of projects. Shawn oversees detailed design and construction methods to ensure budget targets are met. He has a proven track record of financial success and is a respected point of contact for the firm’s major clients. Shawn's experience as a licenced engineer spans a diverse range of structural projects, which he has managed from initial concepts through to complete construction. Derrick Popovich

Associate, Process Lead
Derrick is a licensed engineer with over 17 years of experience in executing feasibility studies, front-end engineering, and detailed design. At Mantecon Partners, he plays a pivotal role leading the process practice, demonstrating his leadership within the organization. He has process troubleshooting and on-site assistance skills gained during plant commissioning and startup/shutdown activities. Derrick is knowledgeable in construction progress monitoring and contractor RFI coordination. In addition, Derrick possesses strong project management capabilities, consistently achieving milestones within designated timeframes and budgets. Derrick's client portfolio is diverse, spanning industries such as food & beverage, oil & gas, nuclear, mining, biofuels, pulp and paper, plastics processing, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy. This breadth of experience highlights his adaptability and understanding of varying industry requirements and standards.
