Woodward became of Hamilton’s first LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Silver Certified buildings. Along with implementing the techniques of sustainable design, the facility was the recipient of the 2007 Urban Design and Architecture Award of Merit for Architecture from the City of Hamilton.
