Hamilton Health Sciences Regional Rehabilitation Centre Pedestrian Bridge
WOODWARD ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY
This structurally sound, carefully designed, pedestrian bridge spans over the roadway to connect the David Braley Cardiac, Vascular and Stroke Research Institute with the Regional Rehabilitation Centre. A much needed solution to easily transport patients between the two for diagnostics.
The bridge crosses over the CHP plant while using moment frames and trusses for support.
Mantecon Partners members were able to produce a bridge which dramatically improved care of the rehab patients and decreased the wasted time from ambulance transfers.
